Canal Cruise (18-30 Group)
17 September, 14:30 - 16:30Free
To mark the start of a new academic year we have arranged a cruise along the Union Canal from Ratho (west of Edinburgh). Construction of the canal began in 1768 to allow people to travel from east to west Scotland, without having to make the dangerous journey around the north of Scotland. There are 12 places available so please get in touch if you’d like to reserve a spot. Your friends, family and carers are very welcome if they’re 18-30 years old.
When: 2:30pm on Monday, 17 September
Where: Canal Side, 27 Baird Road, Ratho, EH28 8RA
If you’d like to travel to Ratho as a group we’ll meet 1:30pm at Haymarket Station, near the entrance door closest to Marks & Spencer. Participants are also welcome to join us at Ratho. There is no cost for the cruise, but if you don’t have a bus pass it’s cheaper to buy a combined tram and bus DAYticket for £4.00.
Please remember to bring appropriate clothing and any medication that you might need. Participants are required to follow the instructions given by Seagull Trust staff and are responsible for their own safety.
For more information please email hello @lothianbipolargroup.org.uk. We look forward to welcoming you on board!
