Self-Care and Wellbeing Overview Course
The Lothian Group are pleased to be offering a new course for group members with a diagnosis of bipolar who would like to learn more about their condition including:
- what is bipolar?
- how can bipolar be treated?
- what can we do to improve our wellbeing?
Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore Recovery, Self Management, Wellness and Self Care.
The course is intended to be hands-on and provide an opportunity for participants to try out some of the tools and self-care activities. There will also be opportunities to speak to other participants about their experiences.
The course leader has 20 years’ experience of delivering mental health Recovery, Wellness & Self Care training workshops and the facilitators bring a wealth of experience of living with bipolar.
The two-day course is scheduled for Saturday, 26 September and Saturday, 3 October but these dates are subject to change. There will be a charge of £5 per person to attend, but lunch, refreshments and all materials will be provided. At this time we’re inviting expressions of interest from group members who’d like to attend this course.
