Some members of the Lothian Bipolar Group will be taking part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk on 16th September 2018 and we’d love you to be part of Team Lothian!
The Kiltwalk is an annual event and we’ll be FUNdraising for Bipolar Scotland to raise money and awareness of the great work they do supporting everyone affected by bipolar.
There are three distances:
The Mighty Stride which is 26 miles long and takes on average 6-10 hours to complete.
The Big Stroll which is 13 miles long and takes on average 4-6 hours
We’ll be walking the shortest distance a.k.a the Wee Wander which is 6 miles long and takes on average 2-3 hours to complete.
Entry fee for The Wee Wander:
£12.66 per adult – includes £10 registration fee + VAT + processing fee.
£6.33 per child – includes £5 registration fee + VAT + processing fee.
FREE entry for children aged 5 and under – no VAT or registration fee.
For your entry fee, you will receive the following:
- entry ticket
- walker guide
- one meal voucher
- Kiltwalk finishers medal
- snacks/refreshments throughout the route
- a full day and night of entertainment!
All charities are registered and if you search for Bipolar Scotland you can then add your entry to the team.
For every £100 raised, the Tom Hunter foundation will give £40 so 140% of your donations will go to Bipolar Scotland. Last year they raised around £1000 between two people in Dundee and Aberdeen so lets see what we can do this year!
